He has never seen a maze before, nor has he even heard the word. I was actually surprised that the curriculum had something this complex, this early in the year. But, I went with it and thought we'd give it a shot (but my expections were low). Well, after I explained that the Mommy 'A' wanted to get to the Baby 'a', and that he needed to use his crayon to show her how to get there, he just said "ok!" and did it, with no mistakes! It appears very scribbly, of course, because he can't really use a crayon yet, but I watched him do it and saw where he was intending the crayon to go. I was so impressed!
